DELAND, Fla. -- Day three of the Daytona Beach Thunder training camp presented by Wise Guys Watering Hole festured an 8-on-8 scrimmage highlighted by the play of QB Neal Sharma and WR Clinton Crump.
The two combined on a pair of touchdown passes.
Head Coach Leon Bright and his staff were debating on the first series of cuts as they are on their mission to get down to 25 players by the end of training camp.
"It's like a draft. All of them have the athletic ability, but we take the ones we need most, and the rest have to go," said Bright.
The process of eliminating will continue on Thursday at 6:30 at the Sperling Sports Complex.
