DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Daytona Beach Thunder will hold a pair of informal workouts Wednesday and Thursday at Sperling Sports Complex, DeLand, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The first official practice will be Monday, March 12 in preparation for the Thunder’s first game since the Feb. 26 death of defensive back Javan Camon, which will be Sunday, March 18 on the road against the Osceola (Kissimmee) Ghostriders.
“It’s important that we get back on the field and carry on,’’ said Thunder coach Leon Bright. “We’re taking things one step at a time.”
Media is allowed to attend the workouts, but access will be determined by Bright. Vice-President of Operations Brad Humphrey will act as media liason.
